Bought some gas jugs to help fetch some good gas (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) for the teeners

Filled up our 77 911S with gas from https://grangesupply.com/. Hard to describe the drivability changes, but I will avoid normal pump gas for these cars from now on.

Drove to local car meet but was only Porsche there among the modern Fords and a couple of old Minis... Weather put people off, I guess.

Moved fuel pump and filter below the steering rack so it is easier to change the fuel filter and not spill gas in the front trunk. Painted the chrome window trim, vent glass door pillar, and the door handles satin black. (VHT epoxy)Attached Image

Thanks, it was the easiest way to get a glass that size into Mexico City… worth the overprice… (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)
I was planning a trip to houston to pick one and drive it back down, because of the packaging. The packaging pictures look too thin to manage the trip with a messenger.

The single most complicated part to get so far in my remodel (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

Haha, put the relay board in the freezer over night and a whole bunch just popped out with a small screwdriver this morning. It's back in the freezer (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Freezing it worked well for getting the last little bit with a hook tool. Some solvent with a wire brush took care of the rest. All pins are tight and all copper is intact. What have you guy’s used for repotting the back? I know there are products but has anyone found something as effective but less denaro? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)

Thank you, some good info and the savings will pay the shipping. Though they are out of stock I’m in no hurry.

So I decided to open up my front air inlet for my oil cooler to increase air flow on those hot hot days. So here is the result. Ben @MB911 modified a bumper I sourced from DrPhill @DRPHIL914 so the opening mirrored my valance opening.

I then sent it to a chrome shop that did a great job finishing the bumper and chroming it. I installed it today.

I can see I need to adjust my valance for a consistent reveal but I plan to have the front bumper off in October/November for some additional work where we will screen the opening and spray the exposed opening, now Irish Green, Satin Black, so I will address that then.

I think it came out nice; I also removed the 2 license plate bracket holes for a cleaner look. So here you go with a before, during and after picture:

Another hillclimb event. Car OK, driver not so! 11th out of 17 (top 6 or 7 cars were 4WD turbos, etc).

Lol good eye. Apparently the chair and ottoman were created in the first month of production and was commissioned in red from the CEO of Coca-Cola, and I was fortunate to buy it from a dealer in NY. Also have a 50’s Florence Knoll 7’ low dresser that is amazing (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Oh yea, took the 73 1.7 for a drive to get ethanol free gas and filled up the extra containers.
