counter sink some screws to brackets inside. Still need the big hole for the steering column. just didn't feel like grinding today.

Welding and fabricating again, making the brackets to hold this panel.
These are really fun, my hands hurt already and I’ve made one (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) But
It is only supposed to get to 100 today (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Slow and steady…

On Saturday we took my car to Porsche's on the Green, an annual event at Greg T's home, hosted by he and his wife. The weather was perfect, a high of 82 with a slight breeze. I didn't count the cars, but I would easily guess 35 cars attended from all over the Bay Area. Everyone had a great time.

Now it has to go into the car with the steering shaft mount so I can get an exact location
For the hole the shaft comes through.

Today I mounted the diffuser. This is a huge Elephant bite. Still need 2 more buttons applied. I didn't like the carbon look-a-like and one them malfunctioned so I'm replacing them in silver.

Sunday I was working on the six to reinstall the rear trunk torsion bars, and I found this:

It's bad enough that I am going to have to replace the suspension console. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif) And I am not a body man at all.

What really sucks is that fact that the engine compartment seals are original. They still have the staples in the corner. This shit has never been tampered with.

With two other 914s disassembled, this is not a good thing. We own three, and none of them are drive-able at this time.
