I was going to use a grill on the outside but it was pointed out that
the airflow would be cut down. He is right. But I spent so much time shaping
I had to share. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Put in new rear deck shocks (see separate thread) on the '73. The original ones had failed after many years...

This was a little spooky, but both ended up in the same place. With some luck they should blow at the cooling fan intake first, then share with the intake. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Went to Cars and Coffee at a place called the Point close to my home. It was a beautiful day got down there by 7.15 Alan @914 drove with me and we where a group of buds that live within a block from my home. Note the Cobra and the BK El Camino with a 700-horsepower engine and finished in a level equal to my 6.

The bees where out and they love the Canary Yellow color of my 6

There where some very cool cars. This one Huge Bug is pictured with Alan next to it and he must be 6.3
Another one was a converted Electric Fiat meant up to look like a oversized bumper car, it had a poll sticking up that looked the way that real bumper cars sparked at the top as they moved. Small LED lights worked great up there. I flashing back to the many times I went on the bumper cars at POP/ Pacific Ocean park in my youth

I agree!

Looks like a beetle got xeroxed at 125%

What is that?

New fuel lines today--thanks to Chris at Tangerine Racing. I struggled with the install until I noticed that a seat harness bolt was impeding progress. I will use only one line, but I installed two for future set up with carbs that require return to the tank. The stainless steel lines are quite rigid--an added bonus that they provide a great zip-tie support for my wandering clutch cable tube. It was loose near the front end.

Not today, but two days ago--first drive of the year, about 30+ miles with the duty dog. Everything is just about ready for spring. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif)

Sure beats being in MN! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Received a passenger side tail light assembly. Mine is in multiple pieces, this one just needed some love. Thanks @barefoot It also had the other end broken but JB weld is the best for plastic repair.
