Installed SS HE and temporary installed this ansa/monza 4 tip muffler while waiting on the other muffler that I bought from our fellow member.

I think there is a better change on the power after removing the after market muffler (local muffler shop) and replacing 1975 Heat exchanger to early Heat exchanger and using a 4 tip muffler.

Installed SS HE and 4 tip muffler

Checked my crank end play and ordered some shims, I used the feeler gauge method for now.

after my shims get here I think I'll get a dial indicator and check it a couple more times before I bolt it down permanent.

Okay I received this muffler this morning came from our member here, any idea can you share member(s) how will be the sound and performance compare to
Ansa/monza 4 tip? So far since I installed the 4 tip muffler the other day, I think it improved the power after replacing 75 HE to early HE and after removing after market muffler.

Please share if you have/had experienced with this muffler I got today.

Thanks in advance!

After I temporarily installed the 4 tips muffler, other drivers are looking at me and now I know they can hear someone is around. Chrome tip is around 2 1/4" diameter so it maybe loud specially the muffler is not a silencer type. But I hope it will not annoy my quiet neighbors. I just asked one of my neighbor yesterday if the 4 tips Ansa/monza muffler is not to loud for them and they said NO!

Thanks, first job for it is to install the -6 in the white car....should be my easiest engine install yet.....I'm OK with that. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer.gif)

Cleaned a bunch of parts today, dropped off the rims for the "driver" today....new tires tomorrow (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) picked up my -6 valve covers from the machine shop, all clearances and surfaced, almost ready to put the -6 together. I pulled the gear stack out of my track car for the doc to regear and refresh where necessary. Normally I'd tackle a job like this myself, but with baby number two on the way in just a few months I don't see much free time in my future.
