we can also wire this to your LED controller. As you hit 5k rpm, the blue LED's in the deck led would melt to a red color

I have a simple idea and then Tim hits it out of the park. Along that line, we will be coming out with a set of deck lid letters thar contain RGB LEDs that Tim is working with us on tying into his system. A bit in the future but It looks promising

Installed a refurbished Bruce Stone pedal cluster. Pretty easy, still can't believe how fustrating the reattachment of the clutch cable is... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Drove the silver '71 for the first time this year after a winter of hibernation... started reasonably well and ran fine!

Helped my son with his new formula race car so the '73 didn't get much love today... hopefully tomorrow after I get up and watch the F1 race.

Installed some Fatmat today. Happy with the product, easy to work with and can't tell a difference between this and Dynamat.

Took the car out of the pole barn FINALLY. Changed out some Euro front blinker lenses and installed American new ones.

Lots of things planned for the red car this year!

Bought a work table and bench grinder at Lowe's. Replaced the grinder wheels with a wire wheel and a polishing disc. Polished/ww'd the rusty lug nuts, they look great. Started with my polisher on the new/old set of 2.0 Fuchs, new tires tomorrow! These will have to be done professionally, at some point. Car is still at the shop, can't wait to drive a 914 (someday?) This is tough, sitting here with no car to fart around with, or, drive, for that matter! I dream of actually driving it.

used the HF tool and removed the windscreen trim, then re-shaped the trim with a channel lock (without marring the trim) where the clips hold the trim. just a gentle squeeze to restore the integrity of clipping surface. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

My trim keeps popping out at the lower right corner, I need to do this too.

Did a 7 mile round trip down to Ruby's Restaurant at the Redondo Beach Pier, was a beautiful day for a top-off drive (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif)

I have two LE wheels in one corner of the garage and a Continental 165-15 tire in the other. The wheels I got some time ago at a junk yard and the tire has been hiding in the corner so long I forgot where and when I got it. I figure its decades old of course but looks brand new, never been on the ground.

So,... got up early and not ready to start rebuilding brakes, I hit Walmart to have the tire mounted just to have the fun of rolling it around the garage when its in the way of whatever project is going on. I remember those skinny tires and distinctive treads and wish they still made them.

Looks like the fitting to the left of the T fitting isn't seated all the way. There shouldn't be any threads exposed. You may want to check that before it comes apart and drains all the oil from the tank.

Started fitting glass bumpers. Had to remake the angle of the front bumper bracket.
Attached Image
Bonded then with fiberfill bondo. Will overlay fiberglass on them when I take them off.
I'll have to add some on the edges to get an even fit. It is progress.

Drove it to lunch with the kids. Perfect weather today in Los Gatos.

Love the small Brumos sticker in front of the door. Just a little touch.. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer.gif)

How do you handle the coos if stopped- three in the car? No third seat belt?

Curious... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)
