I stuck a paperclip in the center hole of the left rear ATS wheel on the 'BB' and had my wife follow me with a video camera aimed at it, so I can show the judge that the parking enforcement officer (who issued me a ticket for the car 'supposedly' being parked on the street in excess of 72 hours) is full of shit.
The paperclip just rolls around in the spinning wheel - for miles and miles ... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) I did this yesterday, because today, they tore out the curbs and started trenching for new curbs and gutters. Since my court date is this Thursday, wanted to show the paperclip issue under the same exact conditions in front of my house as the day the ticket was issued (IMG:style_emoticons/default/shades.gif) |

Drove the kids to school. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) First my 8 year old son and them my 5 year old daughter. Fortunately we live less than two miles from the school so two separate trips isn't a problem and I get twice the seat time. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
2 years on and off the jack stands and never driven her more than 2 miles from home. Maybe soon. Applying for insurance today. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/chowtime.gif) |

Welded on some McMark recommended wire mesh (Mcmaster-carr). Wow, what a pita. As info the wire mesh is not welded. Its just weaved like a straw basket so spent some time hitting every joint (IMG:style_emoticons/default/welder.gif) Need to touch up with my dremel and paint.
I copied it from McMark and Speed metal army (green car). (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads/post-12137-1348116164_thumb.jpg) 10 gauge, so its solid! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_pokal.gif) |

Wow- if you need to vent the fenders that sure looks like a nice way to do it while maintaining the structural integrity of the panel.

Picked the kids up at school (early dismissal day) and drove over to the beach for pizza lunch and Marianne's ice cream. Took the back roads home at the kids request. Wow that must have been a nice drive. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) Six is looking good!! You were within a couple blocks of my Dads house in the picture, he's a couple of blocks up from the beach on the river side. Sounds like a great day (IMG:style_emoticons/default/first.gif) Jeff |

Plus top off, Sirius radio on radio margaritaville and kids singing Jimmy Buffet tunes while driving the twisties.....it doesn't get much better than that for me. |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Not too small but I can tell that the car is getting tighter as they are both growing like weeds. 11 and 9 years old. They sure are along way from here.... |
