I got up early and (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) to McMark's; he repaired some electrical problems - (IMG:style_emoticons/default/pray.gif) made it look so easy - I was on the road and back in Sacramento just in time for lunch. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/chowtime.gif)
Big Thank you McMark ! Jerry (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |

took ole snowflake out for a 50 mile run this afternoon.
after tightening some fuel lines that seem to loosen up every winter and threaten to burn down the car, she started right up and ran like a champ! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_pokal.gif) |

After the day at Dana Point and a solid couple of hours of studying, went for a drive up Azusa Canyon, since GMR is currently closed for some movie filming..

Yesterday was Autos in the Park in Dallas. Big car show. I won my class in the PCA Concours.
Lots of people looking at my car. And lots of really good comments. I didn't get a picture of it, but there was a Red 1959 356 Carrera there with a 4 cam motor, parked right next to a Yellow Carrera GT. Both really beautiful cars. |

Replaced the two screws holding the shifter rod in place - one of the screws had almost fallen out!!! No wonder I couldn't shift into 4th or 5th! Sparky is now shifting like an almost-new transmission should. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I "think" I found my exhaust leak. A seam on my muffler was a little puckered. I tapped it down.
Fingers crossed. |
