Easier to unbolt the column mounts under the dash to hook that up than it is to drop the rack. Be aware that the bolt slot keys the u-joint to the shaft, so you can put it on and not be able to get the bolt in.

I got up early and (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) to McMark's; he repaired some electrical problems - (IMG:style_emoticons/default/pray.gif) made it look so easy - I was on the road and back in Sacramento just in time for lunch. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/chowtime.gif)
Big Thank you McMark !

I finally got my flywheel back from getting lightened to 13 lbs and resurfaced. Can't wait to try it out!

took ole snowflake out for a 50 mile run this afternoon.

after tightening some fuel lines that seem to loosen up every winter and threaten to burn down the car, she started right up and ran like a champ! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_pokal.gif)

After the day at Dana Point and a solid couple of hours of studying, went for a drive up Azusa Canyon, since GMR is currently closed for some movie filming..

Yesterday was Autos in the Park in Dallas. Big car show. I won my class in the PCA Concours.

Attached Image

Lots of people looking at my car. And lots of really good comments.

I didn't get a picture of it, but there was a Red 1959 356 Carrera there with a 4 cam motor, parked right next to a Yellow Carrera GT. Both really beautiful cars.

Received my new Triad exhaust today. Dave @ Triad is true to his word and passionate about his work. The chrome tips look great. Hope to install it this weekend! Attached Image

Replaced the two screws holding the shifter rod in place - one of the screws had almost fallen out!!! No wonder I couldn't shift into 4th or 5th! Sparky is now shifting like an almost-new transmission should. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I "think" I found my exhaust leak. A seam on my muffler was a little puckered. I tapped it down.

Fingers crossed.
