Phil, how much do you pay Hagarty, and what are their 'rules'?

I wouldn't consider driving to work every now and then "commuting" - to me, commuting is pretty much driving it every day.

Tuned Muffler for MFI engine to replace the one I have on there. It's leaking due to rust.

Three pairs of rebuilt visors from 914rubber came in today's FedEx delivery. Installed the first and need to get some mounting screws from Lowe's for the other two.

- might need to reconsider my insurance coverage so i can drive it to work once and a while--might have to if i sell the boxster, since the wife totalled her jag i might need it a s the down payment on a newer model car(got my eye on a low milage E350 mercedes-very nice)

I use American Collectors Ins., not as restrictive as Hagerty, stated value, mileage per year is tiered, give them a call.

thanks for the tip, i will!

I agree; American Collectors is great. Have it for my 914 & 944 and total is $300/year and not hassles.

Updated the firmware in the dash, figured out where to put the IR tire and brake temps sensors, and searched for the small oil leak.

Took off my Ceramic Coated 2.0 liter Bursch Muffler on my 1974 914 F.I. garage queen and installed my new Ceramic Coated Triad Muffler.
Love the sound. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/first.gif)

So are those triad mufflers a muffler in the lower part and resonators on the upper part? Or is that just a larger diameter for the upper part?

Figgered out why my brights only were working without problem and lows intermittently (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) turned ut to be the relay. Opened it up and adjusted the metal tab inside. Pretty cool stuff in there. Anyway, it works now and I learned sumpin' new. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/aktion035.gif)

I put mine up on jack stands and started building a jig to hold the engine in position.
