I ain't done diddly,
I ain't done shit, and I really don't mean to be a hypocrite Tellin' y'all to get 'em running get 'em off them old jack stands I've been shirking my responsibility and dealing with some other plans Mine's been sitting in the driveway, and just collecting daily dust, one of these days I'll get to drive it even if it smells like 40 year-old rust ... |

Went and looked at the 3.2 today, unfortunately during the leak down test two cylinders had bad leaks from the valves. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif) sooo I didn't buy it. Looks like it's back to rebuilding the 2.7.......pulling it tomorrow. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smash.gif)

Kids finally went to sleep around 10:30pm so I had a chance to lube all the hinges and latches. Front trunk went from squeaky to dead silent now.

Slapped a Rockford Fosgate mono amp in the front trunk to run the bazooka. Enough low end to round things out. Then took the wife out for a wailin' ride down to the beach. Beautiful evening. Now I'm off to bury the bone (IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif)
BTW, if they'd have put a 2056 or such from the factory they prolly would have sold 226,000 of these things. It was the 70's and Amerikans wanted lots o HP. Still do, I reckon' (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) |

I went to the store. On the way backhome there wwas a train which slowed and stopped just past the crossing. I backed up and went around the crossing guards with my finger in the air ( they built a railyard a few years ago and the trains block my road all of the time.). I get over the tracks and there's a cop there. So, I crossed a track illegally while giving a policeman the middle finger. Nothing happened.

Put the tin and fan back on after resealing the oil pump cover.
Then tore down the rear brakes. Trying to decide whether send the halves to Eric or find a plater in PDX. Need to call Eric for a couple adjuster screws. Sockets are trashed. Super In Law worked on a small wheelhouse patch behind the battery tray. The front corner of the tray rusted a bit over the past 4 years. Front screw for the ECU brackets wouldn't come out. So we'll replace the tray. |

... So, I crossed a track illegally while giving a policeman the middle finger. Nothing happened. Maybe he didn't see your finger? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) ... or maybe you caught him off guard? Watch your back ...I don't flip 'em off until after they write the ticket (IMG:style_emoticons/default/shades.gif) |
