Playing around with the cars this morning.

Picked-up a set of wheel dolly yesterday from Harbor Freight to be able to rotate and for easy to move the 71 1.7 (with rear suspension console damaged). Borrowed pedrini wheels from 71 and install it to 75 1.8. Wow pedrini is the right offset for our 914 even 205x65x15 really has more fender space compare to the riviera with only 185x65x15 tires that made me pulled the fender a little bit. Hoping someone will buy the red one soon (74 1.8 FI), still waiting if the member is still interested with it.

Rear view with 205x65 tire is way better than 185x65 as long you have the right offset like pedrini wheels.

had a broken fog light, went to put in new jbugs fog light and the damn mount is different and spent way to long on that with the relocation hole and a bolt that interfered with the light bucket going down.

then put in new heater hoses from h/e to flapper .... I must have the wrong passenger side pipe from h/e to flapper cause the cable wont reach the flapper now (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif) but have heat on drivers side now (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cheer.gif)

put in new fuel pump and filter... that was easy (IMG:style_emoticons/default/aktion035.gif)

Out with the old in the the new dash!
my friends shop installed my dash yesterday
.
I'll post a finished shot when i get the radio back in.

I had my dash recovered by:

I would recommend him to anyone that needs a dash

I know I know this carb is the worst choice EVER!!! but I went through every orifice and cleared each one. Also replaced the accelerator diaphragm and power valve diaphragm on the Weber dgv 32/36 that I'm using to get this beast back on the road. Also picked up the phosphoric acid stuff for addressing the rust concerns. in the hell hole and other spots. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif)
