Changed my venturies to 32 from 28.
Then I used my Christmas present, an AFR meter from Innovate Motorsports (IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif) , welded in a bung for the O2 sensor in my muffler and I was set to do some rejetting (IMG:style_emoticons/default/chowtime.gif)

Ended up to increase the accelerating pump jets, and idle jets to 60, Main all the way up to 140.

Now I have a strong running 914 Pulling all the way (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) great and the Cyl. head temp down and great AFR readings...

So happy (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Long time that I wanted to be able to set those carbs perfect

Are you running dell's or Webers?

Yes Webers, 40 IDF (but the new ones from spain (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) ).

Hey Abe, it looks like you have a 1.7/1.8L muffler hanger there. You'll need one like the middle one in this pic (pic from Jeff Bowlsby's site)

Replaced my ignition switch, which I started yesterday, and put in a new Dino steering wheel. Can't believe the switch was so hard to replace and what a difference it makes, starts first time for the first time since I've had it!

Installed my new dash.
QUESTION: are there any screws that attach the upper dash to the frame? I have all the bolts, but a few extra screws remain in my hand. Does anyone have a diagram of where the screws go?

I don't have a 914...stop teasing me....

okay I do still have a 1:43 scale 914.....which I placed up against my new-to-me blown up wiring diagrams for a '73 which I just had plotted out at Staples, less than $15 for both, 22"x18", laminated.

Why '73? Well that is the car that I made an offer on and should know tomorrow if he still wants to sell it not.

Attached Image(IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif) WoW what a blast I had today...It started with a text from a friend about a car show out in Paramount. So I pulled out the 914 out for a Drive.Stop by the 711 grab a cup of joe and off I went. As soon as I got over kellogg's hill this car would not let me pass...I normally just back off, This time I throw it in 3rd and drove right past him :driving:man the 2.0 in 3rd was moving and felt so good.
So I'm cruising coming to the 605 from the 10 you know right at the place you need to get over to make it to the 605...could get busy under that fwy pass. And would you know it that same car rams right in front of me (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif) ..Man I down shifted and did a zip bee line and pass him up at the curve (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) ...no way he could catch me...
(IMG:style_emoticons/default/lol-2.gif) ..it was a blast, funny he kept on trying to get ahead of me all the way to the 105...
SOOOO MUCH FUN (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) ..I kept it save. Car show suck just 8o's style low riders So I
came all the way back on the 210 got off got some lunch and headed to the bookstore and bought 3 Porsche magazine's....What a cool run...
