Sorry to hear that.

40 years ago this month, my dad almost died in a VW Microbus accident going about 20-25 mph. A lifted TravelAll (International Suburban-type) ran a stop sign, and the Microbus bumper slid under the TravelAll as it T-boned it. Tinfoil and the steering wheel ripped into my dad's stomach, causing massive internal bleeding. I vowed never to drive a VW again, yet here I am driving a 914 with only double or triple the amount of tinfoil (and a rubber spare tire, some wiper fluid, and 15 gallons of gasoline) between me and the 2-3 tons of steel the other driver has. I really do know better.

That sucks (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

It looks like a bad hit, but doesn't look like it would have been fatal. Wonder if it snapped his neck? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

ziggys gear box and a motor I built 4 years ago. the cam was new but unmarked. the bet was that i could not just eyeball it and come up with a good combo.
well, i win. shes a little ripper. pulls strong, good low end for in town cruising of starting off on a hill.

Took NARP logo off the back on mine....

Went and helped(?) a fellow 914world member with some electrical issues with his car for a few hours this morning....I think the old aftermarket alarm system and it's wiring is causing some problems, I had to get home and he needed to buy some more parts.

Yes that is a nice car with rubber bumper, meaning I don't need to back date my bumper. But I know mine only nice for 20 footer.

I am undecided how far I want to go with the green motif, not too sure if the Phonedials would be too much with this color, it is a little bright!

I guess I need to learn how to use GIMP better and do some renderings.

Dropped it off at the body shop to fix the curb damage...while there, spotted 4 Tesla's with driver side suspension damage? What's up with that?
