Don't waste $ on those cheap Harbor Freight wall-wart chargers. One of the best 'trickle' chargers on the market is the Battery Tender.

The 1.25A one (as shown) kept the AGM battery in my '98 Harley up-to-snuff for 14 years (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I usually don't have to worry about it since I drive the car everyday.

Got the front sway bar installed and the 9.5mm steel fuel line installed from tangerine racing. The fuel line was a much much easier then I would have thought!

Took the cover off and started making the pre-autocross season "to-do" list.

Replaced the front windshield/targa top seal on my '73 today. Also fixed the seat belt retractors. They were sticking bad... work like new now! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Fixed the visor, too.

I received a package in the mail from France today. It is a NOS MoMo steering wheel from 1991. I switch up my steering wheels on my car once in a while to mix it up a bit. I either run stock or a 350mm Prototipo but sure am excited to try out this 370mm wheel that has just the slightest dish to it. It was reasonably priced considering some of the earlier flat Prototipos can get into the thousands. Pictures of it on the car to follow once I get it mounted.

i am starting to think that my 914 doesn't like me...after driving at least 5 times a week for about a month, the ignition switch is acting up with intermittent non-starting. I then decided to use a by-pass switch with the thought of an "anti-theft" solution. This worked great! Now, 2nd and 3rd gear is grinding! Transmission rebuild or clutch replacement is not on the budget. I am hoping to get a huge tax return or else 914 will be back collecting dust and patina. i will need a car cover. No I can't. My neighbors cats will shred it into pieces.

Me too (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) ... I just replaced the ignition switch in my Tacoma this week end. Next is the 'BB'. It started acting up (just like the Tacoma) a week after installing a new battery (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif)

Did you have these done through one of the online vendors using aluminide?

The resolution looks pretty dang good!

After a quick demise of my old battery (7 years old), I bought and installed a new Optima red-top 34 battery today. Fired up quick (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

I look at the 'BB' yesterday. I need to get my (IMG:style_emoticons/default/bootyshake.gif) in gear though.

Still need to replace the ignition switch and sleeve the steering shaft, new tires, blast and repaint the side grilles, and re-install the rocker panels.

Sounds simple enough, right? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)

Nothing to the car....but I've been cleaning and rearranging the shop, had some time yesterday and turned an empty corner into a work area. Built a workbench, then organized all the parts for my 3.2 conversion. Got most of the parts collected....now it's time to start putting it all together, only two more months if I'm going to drive it to WCR.

Printed them out myself on my printer and used several layers of metallic paint.

I notice you've go one sway bar arm and one "non". Did these come off of your car or were they spares you drummed up?
