Now - I GOTTA work on those mismatched headlight surrounds...
Yeah, I was going to ask who gave your car a black eye? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

All I got to do was open the door and retrieve a couple of receipts from the center storage box (IMG:style_emoticons/default/screwy.gif)

Today was my birthday. I took the day off work and drove to Alice's in Woodside for lunch. Then I took Hwy 35 to Half Moon Bay before heading down Hwy 1 to Santa Cruz. Along the way to Santa Cruz I stopped to check out the surf and views. While in Santa Cruz, I stopped at Marianne's for some 10/20 ice cream then headed home to San Jose.

The car ran like a champ. What a great way to spend the afternoon.

Crawled under to take some exhaust measurements and noticed a few drops of brake fluid on the floor. Found that I had never tightened the inverted flare nut properly and 2000 miles later it began to leak. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif)

... and we've got overcast conditions out here today, after a week of nice hot sunny weather (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif)

Gotta go to the shop, unload and shelve a half-ton of parts that have been sitting in the Vanagon for a few days now (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

While I'm there, need to decide on which set of wheels to put new tires on for the 'BB' before the RT-66 Run (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) ... (another set of ATS Classics, Dan Gurneys or 5.5" stock steelies) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif)
