... There is one brown wire on the center console I am a little unsure of. It is with the wires that go to the gages. Except it has a clip for a screw to go through it. I am thinking it is a ground & should connect below the gages to the mount? I'll get a pic tomorrow Jamie, is it a really small eyelet connector? ... It might be one of the wires that connects to one of the screw terminals on the heater blower indicator light down by the heat lever (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) |

Still waiting for the replacement engine to come down from LA.
The wifes downstairs lounge is now full of engine parts and now body parts. Finished the bare metalling on the left front fender last night. Takes about 8 hours per panel to strip , clean and etch prime-this is going to be a long job! |

Needed to notch the bases of the new stacks to allow for easier jet changes.
Applied a second coat of vinyl spray to the console (when the sun finally decided to come out at 4:pm) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) ... made a new bottom insert and it's ready to install. ... and said hi to a couple of dear old friends parked in the rear driveway ... |

I couldn't locate my set of old fog lights for Mark's refurb GB, so took the bumper, valance and lights off of my wife's '71.
Since I had nothing better to do, pounded out a couple of dimples and polished the bumper. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smash.gif) ... It has some minor pitting and the chrome is thinning here and there, but it came out better than expected, being 41 years old. What the hell, gonna install it on the 'BB'. We do have a set of newly re-chromed bumpers for my wife's restoration (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy11.gif) ... |
