These arrived today! Waited for 10 weeks but they are sweet!
Should be on the car this week, in time for cars and coffee saturday.
it's a set of Fuchs 2 16×6", and 2 16x7's. Cleaned repolished and painted.
Once on the car I will post some pictures.

Wow, those look great!

Just curious . . . will you be selling the set of 16x6 wheels that are currently on the car?

Thanks!

Those wheels look great! Do you have a wide bodied car? Post pics of your car after installing these!

No. Fender lips rolled. I have a set of 16"x 6" on all fours now, and spacers in front and rear, so the 7" should fit. Tires in now are 205/55 16, which were standard on this rims in a 911 according to my mechanic. His 73 911 has that exact set in it now. He's putting my tires on Friday !!!

Nice teener! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) Stock color? Doesn't look like sepia brown in picture.

looks darker in the picture, '75, copper metalic

Have any "out of the box" plans for your new install? I've got ideas but I'm currently out of commission for another couple of months and fresh ideas are always interesting! Suby trans or stock? okay, I'll quit with the questions... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/popcorn[1].gif)

No real work on the 914, I did get some parts back from zinc plating, including some 911 front hub* grease caps..one of the caps is little more beat up than I'd like, but I didn't have time to do any metal work on it before sending the stuff off.

Yellow zinc with and baked in the oven to get rid of any hydrogen entrapment.

*which will be for sale soon

Been driving so much, I might have to put GAS in it today. There is this strange RED light on the left side of the gas gauge, does that mean something? Should I worry or drive faster?

so we had a bit of a problem-once the springs settled it rubbed just barely on the right side more than left but enough to cause some heat, thus the bubble of pain on the fender lip (IMG:style_emoticons/default/barf.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon8.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif)

I helped the new owner load the 914 on a trailer and watched it go to it's new home. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/bye1.gif)

Did some detailing today then drove it into town for some groceries. Park it far away to avoid runaway shopping buggies. I have some new injector boots but don't know how to get new ones over the connections.

Remove the pins from the connectors, might be able to use small metal pick to release the springs holding the pins inside the connector.

So are you without a 914 now? - or have another one stashed away?
