Met with Anthony (Highland) at the shop this morning ... loaded up a side-shift trans on his way back down to San Diego (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Opened some more crates and posted more goodies in the classifieds (IMG:style_emoticons/default/type.gif)

Did a little more parts sorting, combining/packing and labeling for the impending move to AZ.

Tried to start the 'BB' ... no dice (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) Pulled the battery and threw it on the charger.

Received half of a wheel shipment (set of ATS Classics) ... the other half is scheduled for delivery tomorrow (IMG:style_emoticons/default/popcorn[1].gif)

Hoping to get over to the shop again tomorrow to finish dis-assembly of Dianne's 1.7L motor, so I can get everything packed up and over to EMW for evaluation and massaging (as needed).

Took the '73 for a quick errand to the nearby Safeway, found a shady spot in the back 40... noticed it was shifting funny on the way, trouble finding first. By the time I left Safeway couldn't get first or reverse which made it a little interesting gettting it back in the garage.
Started checking things- second thing was in back under the plastic cover- found the problem pretty quickly!

Pelican here I come...

Working on this now myself. What a pain trying to get paint in all those nooks and crannies. How did you do it?

In my garage paint job, my son and I used a spotting gun for the little nooks and undersides of insides and outs. The smaller cup allows short blasts of low volume paint and at times upside down...

I learned a few things about painting two stage epoxy based paint systems: The car looks great from ten feet away but try driving it from ten feet away... The primer systems today are fantastic and do not come off of skin for days.. and....

Let a professional do it........

914? - Nothing (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) ... I need to carve out some time to get the 'BB's hydraulic clutch release system moving forward.

I did, however, get some more done on the 912 motor. Getting closer ...

Larmo, no one has ever called you a goofball; as far as you know. When are you going to drop a six in that beast?
