$20 91 octane almost 3/4 tank. Used the fuel cap to hold the pump spring so I don't have to hold it while pumping. Lately makes my back hurt when holding the pump spring on one hand and the pump on the other hand.

So being in the land of no rain I see wipers are not even needed.

Replaced the PO's old brass-hinged gas pedal mod. Also found out my upholstery guy can't start on my seats and backpad til end of month so I put the driver seat and seatbelt back in so I could enjoy this great driving weather.

Put on the top for a ride today to warm up oil before changing in anticipation of winter storage... new filter and Brad Penn oil. Ready for winter (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Silver car that is... red one gets used all winter in AZ!!

So did you fix your fuse issue?

One of these days I'll get to drive a P-car to the local Pelican C&C. There's also a lot of local 912 BBS guys that regularly attend the events.

You remember I had that going on? I think so. I was looking at the gauge wires to compare to my build off car and tripped the fuse when I moved a connector for the gauge lighting. Turns out the jumper connected to that bulb that was put on there by AL Garcia when he put my l.e.d. lights in was shorting out by touching the edge, since I adjusted it and wrapped it with tape, no more blowing a fuse in that circuit. Now if I can figure out why my fear air fan blows it's fuse I'll be got to go wiring wise.
Btw, you have a 912? Guy at c and c today asked me what I k ee about them, because a friend of a friend knows an elderly widow somewhere in AZ that's stashed away, wants to get rid of it, told him I didn't know what it was worth, but I'd check. It's a 69 he thinks, what's it worth, if it's rust free?

I think 2 years ago that my 75 1.8 has the 1st time being flat towed because a smoke is coming out from the fresh air vent below the windshield. And I noticed the switch lever for the fan was half way on. So the following day after it was towed, I found out that my fresh air fan blower was stock and hard to turn the blower by hand. The fuse didn't blow up instead the wire for the blower burned.

Andy, is the googly eye look for the 911 targa? Turns out he live in the same development I do, snout 4 blocks away. Has his own shop here in town with a lift, offered to help out with my project, had been around 911s a lot, flips them mostly,- might be a new Porsche BFF (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) , well nice guy, offered to let me use the lift etc might head over this afternoon to check it out..
So he does have the original 2.7 to go in that car, been rebuilt recently, the 3.0 might be coming out, going to find out what he's asking for the 3.0 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif)

NEWS FLASH: I drove my car today. I mean REALLY drove it. It's a long story, but it's finally running as it was when Joe O'Brien delivered it (though not as rich (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) )

Man o man, this thing is a monster. There's still some tweaking to do, it's not quite making full HP at WOT, probably need to adjust acceleration enrichment and then work on EGO controller programming. But I say, DAYUM SHE BE QUICK!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/w00t.gif) You couldn't get this grin off my face with a sledgehammer!

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) - Andy ...

Phil, just as with any car, it's hard to place a value without looking at it, but ('65 ~ '69) 912 values have been rapidly increasing recently (even the '76 912Es). I've seen pristine examples go for as high as $75k. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

Average decent drivers are from the mid to high teens to the high 20's. Really nice drivers are in the $30k ~ $45k range.

EDIT: Here's a link to the 912 BBS classifieds: Link

Yep, currently working on two 912s ...

Drove up with Harve (57Liincolnman) to Euro Auto Fest in Greenville SC. Great show but disappointing that out of over 400 cars we were the only two 914's

Look very nice. Is this just a glued dash (cap)?
I need to do the same. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smash.gif)
