not running since after the February cars and coffee at Aliso Viejo. Issues with my ignition system.

Went to Finish master to get some paint to redo my Creamsicl's Phoenix red. The orange I see on the car right now is too light for some reasons. It needs to be redish. I got a negative side scripts from 914rubber.com and took it to Finish Master. And they photographed it then made the matching color for me. They put in a quart can and 2 spray cans to start with. Will paint this weekend (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Started glass work on rear bumper shaping it to fit flares. Right now it is a rough fit, hopefully by tomorrow night it will be getting close to done.

Rustoleum Lobster Red is a near perfect match for Phoenix Red.

After doing a radio delete I set up my iPod. Installed a a line driver with remote control that connects to Amp and powers two 4x4 speakers. The dash hole for the radio was replaced with a cubby (or shelf) for storing iPhone, sunglasses, keys,

Also removed a Sprice aircraft CHT gauge and Innovate A/F ratio gauge; they are for sale - see classifids. I'll bring them to C & C tomorrow too

I straightened out the poorly-installed (by me) Euro-spec badge today. Took her for a very brief spin, it was rush-hour when the in-between rain moment hit. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif)

Damn, even dusty she looks hot! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/shades.gif)

Nice isn't it? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) As someone else pointed out, it's Series9 ... Custom-made, one of a kind by Joe O'Brien at S9. But I bet he'll make another if asked. Edit: I should add, they're welded aluminum...not fiberglass.

Are the rockers custom or off the shelf and if so from where? Your car is a knockout.

I installed a Momo wheel/hub that I bought here. I'll have to get used to how small this thing is, but it sure lends itself to the go-kart feel of the car.

I also installed some much better and brighter vintage Hella driving lights. A box came today from 914 Rubber that had the plastic lens protective stick-on covers. These are a no brainer, they don't show and protect expensive glass lights.
