Nice looking ones! Where did you get those? I'd like in phoenix red. It's a good thing 'Crazy Hippie' isn't on the board these days (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) |

I collected these earlier today for my 3.0L conversion. Can't wait to get them fitted but it'll be a good few months yet.

Installing a Jonesy 'tunacan" sump. Hopefully that will cure the low oil pressure indications when turning or stopping hard. Karl, make sure the hollow bolt fits through hole in the bottom of the strainer screen before final assembly. You may need to enlarge the hole.Have done so. Thank you for the reminder. Have cleaned everything up, installed extension tube per earlier posts. Am just waiting for the third gasket to arrive in the mail. People have had success with this mod? I'm sure it can't hurt anything, figuring it can only help with the pick-up tube sitting deeper into the sump, unless installed improperly. |

I loaded her up and drove 150 miles to Flagstaff for 3 weeks of cool weather and a weekend of camping at the Grand Canyon. B-Kool kept me comfortable for the hour plus of driving in the hot desert. The wife drove the Ford Edge with daughter, her twins and the dog.

Your annual Flagstaff treffen, eh? I'm stuck in CA for a while. Up the 17?, or 87?
Share some info on the B-Kool contraption (IMG:style_emoticons/default/popcorn[1].gif) |

Drove up the 17, with 2-year old twins you have to get from point A to B ASAP. I'll do some fun drives while I'm there.
Here's the B-kool website: B-kool. Works like a champ as long as the ice lasts which is about 1-1/2 hours. By then I was at 4K feet and switched to good ol' 2x65 AC. I carried extra ice when I drove to WCR so I could go 3 hours between gas/ice/pee stops. it blows 40* air at 30mph from the 4" top hose which is plenty to keep you Kool. Returning from WCR it was >110* for a couple hours and I was comfortable except when I had to pull over to reload the ice. Normally it just fits on the floor, not the seat as shown in the picture, but now doesn't because I finally got around to installing a seat adjuster handle. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif) Lemme know when your in PHX sometime and you can check it out. |

workimg on the led conversion for headlights from mark, found these housings that have halos, thought id tey them out- so far the Halos are working - wired to the fogs,
but the high beams will not get triggered on when pulling the lever- might be problem with LED not drawing enough current? or i have a defective unit. Attached thumbnail(s) |

Which one do you like? Can be modified to your liking (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) (I messed up on the "dot" for the chamfered one, that will be fixed) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads/post-87-1501744986.jpg) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads/post-87-1501744996.jpg) |
