Holy crap! I'm hoping gas isn't up to $5 by the time I leave to drive down. Things are moving quick though. I leave for Vegas in 2 weeks (IMG:style_emoticons/default/evilgrin.gif)

Well, you're not quite done yet. Check the oil and make sure you have a full tank. Oh yeah. Stop at an ATM. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Well Mike, I was just wondering with all those gold chains and pinky rings if your back hurts from carrying the excess weight. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/poke.gif)

My time is running out (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) . Going to be a busy weekend getting it all finished so I can hit the road sunday or monday. Oh yeah plus drive it some to make sure it is still running great (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) . The minor techinicalities (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

Mike and I have to bail. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) I have too much work and school stuff going on over the next 3 weeks and can't really afford to take this time off. I'm so extremely bummed. I'm going to find a random hotel parking lot on 3/23 evening where I can sit and drink beer and look at Rt66 photos from events past. If I'm lucky, I'll find a bbq grill I can light and prop open with an aluminum can. And I definitely won't forget my Rt66 shot glass in my pocket. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

Sorry you guys can't make it. We can deal without Mike (IMG:style_emoticons/default/poke.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lol-2.gif) . It's a real loss not having you there Sharon (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy11.gif) . We'll suffer through (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

If Eric Lowe was going, I could likely talk him into wearing a Rt66 live cam on his head so I could watch the event from The Sleepin perspective.

T minus 10 mo days 'n counting. I'm seriously considering bringing Blackie instead of Whitey. Might be the time to air it out. I drove it to Lew's memorial yesterday. Over the mountains and back. All temps look good and the car felt good, too! It's not as finished and I'm not sure that my co-pilot wife will approve.

I know, I know...you just don't want to go because I am not making it this year either. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy11.gif)

I had a camera mounted to my head at RRC11...all you could see were stars, smoke and sparks.

We will be up your way on Thursday the 15th Sharon. Maybe we could all (IMG:style_emoticons/default/chowtime.gif) or (IMG:style_emoticons/default/jsharp.gif) in this nice weather.
