QUOTE Toast Posted: Oct 1 2004, 07:21 AM Location: Riverside, CA. I do like the idea of the patches...see what people use them on and get ideas... (shirts, tanks, totes, ties, panties, ect.) Well the 914 GURL Hat's are being received well, so I'm now thinking about my next creative 914 endeavor. Would there be enough group interest if I had 3" oval iron-on patches made with a design, maybe like this? Attached image(s) |

Are stickers more popular? You can't put stickers permenantly on fabric things (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) I rarely put stickers on my cars... |

QUOTE(Lou W @ Oct 18 2004, 03:20 PM) Another Hat??? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) I'm cool with making new hats too, but thought maybe an iron-on patch might offer some placement flexibility (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) They are also cheaper to produce and thus cheaper for ya'll to buy. For the record -- Anything that requires managing different clothing sizes is not on my "A-list" of products to produce. Like: - bags/backpacks/totes - pants/shorts - shirts - bandanas - cloth upholstery - folding nylon camp/directors chairs - hats ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ BUT if ya'll are game for another hat, I can produce that instead... I just can't front enough money to produce all the products at one time (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif) |

Please don't take this wrong. But, I would like to see some original artwork. We've all seen that design so many places already that most of us probably don't know or remember where it originated.

Criticism is part of the creative world (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) I liked the style and I illustrated this one myself using the displayed sample as my model, unlike the GURL hat design which was edited artwork. Still not original enough huh? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) I can come up with something different if ya'll would like... |

QUOTE Posted on Oct 18 2004, 03:38 PM I don't know how they would hold up on a hat, I would think that the edges would start to peel. I think if we went that direction, we would be better sewing the patches on. Nothing to stop ya (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) Only difference between and iron-on patch and a non-iron-on patch is the heat-activated sticky stuff applied to the back during production. |

I've always liked this one.
Nice patch or sticker. If a patch, I'd like to see some other color options. Red and white would be cool. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) KT Attached image(s) |
