Guys,

I'm gonna just be a spectator, but it would be great if we could arrange a meeting place/time so that we don't miss each other.

I'm assuming the get together will be in the front part of the park (the back side is the golf course). There is a little guard shack that we could all try migrate to at some appointed time.

Hoping we can pull off parking the teeners next to each other. Think it would be cool.

Gates open for spectators at 9:30, but I may not be there til 10:30 or 11 am. If anyone has attended the thing in years past, may have a better idea of where to meet up.

Yes, it's held in the front of the park... I wasn't even aware a golf course was there! Though perhaps we can move the show there and watch the Baja Bugs jump in and out of the sand traps! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/first.gif)

Last year the show was held in the field immediately to the right of the main drive when you first come in, and the two years previous it was in the wooded picnic area to the left of the main drive, which I personally prefer. I imagine it will be pretty easy to meet up if people are driving their 914s. A lot of the VW Bus guys always find a way to park together so if the first of us to arrive mentions how many more 914s are coming (once we have a better # closer to the date) then we should be good!

If only! I'll see what I can do to take photos of any and all 914s present and post them... perhaps some 356s of note will make it in as well!

So far looks like the weather will be nice, although a little cool in the evening.

Sunny and dry will be nice!

Ken, planning to make the Rallye Porsche Mariemont event the weekend after next as well? The driving rally the day before the show should be a good time! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif)

Forecast still looks great! High of 70-73' both Saturday and Sunday with a low in the mid to upper 40's for the campers. Anyone have a Westfalia to tow their 914 with?!

I was hoping that with a nice weather forecast on Sunday that I'd drive the 914 out to GE Park for the "Reunion".

Then I get home tonight and the contractor had left 2000 lbs of cut stone and cast concrete on the driveway.......in front of the garage door......the garage door that the 914 is behind (IMG:style_emoticons/default/hissyfit.gif)

So now wifey sez "You can load up the Honda Element with the old 15" steel wheels, f/g rocker panels, shabby front bumper tops, old VW & PORSCHE magazines, "Excellence", model cars, etc., etc. and get them outta the house!"

"Too much work for too little return" sez I.

Maybe I'll just ride my bike over to the reunion.

If you need some help hauling stone so you can get your Teener out I can lend a hand.

Also, I have a pair of front Koni yellows, a pair of 140# progressive springs, a good rain tray, and a mint 4-lug steel wheel at low costs if anyone wants em.

So All,

What's the final tally? who's gonna show up?

No weather excuses, the forcast couldn't be better

I'd like to try and meet you all, and it will good to know who's in and who's out.

I expect to be there by 11am at the latest, hopefully earlier.

Paul, sucks you won't be able to bring the teener (I was really hoping to see it).

I'll be driving mine down, in all its untouched glory. Hoping to get some opinions to put on my winter todo list.

I'm going to attempt to make it! Have 50th Reunion in Portsmouth OH on Fri. and Sat. but will leave after the dinner and drive Cayman back home to Georgetown, KY. Then get an early start Sun. morning and drive "Dad's Mistress"(my all original 73 914!) to the Park, should be there about 9:30AM when the gates open, so save me a parking place. Its hard to miss my Dephi Green(L99A)paint!

I plan to be there between 9:30 and 10 driving the laguna blau '75 in my avatar. I have had some fuel delivery issues in the past couple of months, so I am crossing my fingers that I will make it without incident.

kesterle@gmail.com if you want to reach me before or at the event.

I plan to go and show. Red 1976 914/4, fairly nice paint but rough interior. I am interested in your yellow front Konis and would like to take a look at them. Let me know what you are asking for them so I can come with enough $$.
