My plans may have changed. Went to start my car to back it out of the garage this afternoon and it would not start. If I can get it going I will be there with it. If I can not get it going I will be there anyway. If any 914er wants to chat at the auto show, I wear glasses and I will be wearing a panama hat and a black T-shirt with ?Sprechen Sie 914? on it. Wish me luck with my troubleshooting.

rnellums, if we can meet up I am still interested in your Koni sport shocks.

Yup, I'm going to go. Not sure Saturday and Sunday or just Sunday.

Ken

Ken, planning to make the Rallye Porsche Mariemont event the weekend after next as well? The driving rally the day before the show should be a good time! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif)

Anyone have a Westfalia to tow their 914 with?!

Um, I don't think I will make that unless you allow Camry manuals. My Vanagon was trashed by my daughter, and the 914's are apart.

OK, it's tomorow morning for me. White T-shirt with Pelican Parts on the back and 2003 914 meet on the front. Mebbe a green ballcap too.

Cats weren't interested in going. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)

It will be good to see some more local 914 folks. I will there on Sunday morning. With any luck, I'll be there with the Beetle in my avatar.

Nice! In the past 4 years the most 914s I can remember attending this show at once was 4, so with any luck we'll smash that record. I skipped the pre-show open house today in favor of installing a new main targa seal & a slew of other small projects! Still putting another coat of POR-15 on my Engman long kit now... So if anyone wants a look it'll be right out in the open!

Maybe I'll have an interior again this time next week? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Record turnout of Teeners at the annual VW-Porsche reunion, official count of entries stands at 14 914's in total! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I got a few good shots of most of the cars, minus 2-3 that left early, & about 3/4 were 914 World Members! I'll try to post some of the good shots sooner than later!

That guy had cash?! He was creeping me out a bit... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) Not sure I'd have sold him a Teener that was for sale.

It really was impressive to see so many 914s together, in one place, and nary a jack stand in sight (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) .........

Was a really great turnout today! Was great to meet all of the folks from on here and catch up with a few that I already knew.

On the way out.

And the winner... You couldn't have punched the smile off of his face!

Separate picture thread from today's show: http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?showtopic=195337

Yikes, the photos of my 914 from today make me want a new 72-correct bumpers sooner than later... the gap from the bent 73 bumper my Teener came with despite new bumper tops is scary! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif)

Congrats again to Ross! (Enjoy those 914-6 Hot Wheels!) 3 (IIRC?) 914's leaving with awards is awesome, especially at such a well attended show full of other incredibly clean Speedsters, 356s, 911s and so on!
