Ditto!

Maybe we'll see you Friday? Let's keep in touch. I need to head out to the race track to pick up an exhaust system for Dug. I may do that over the weekend, which means I could swing by the shop if you're there. We'll chat via email.

Woo hoo! One less thing to not have think about.

One thing I need to email everyone about is that you may find it worked better to route the throttle cable between the engine shelf and the engine tin. The angle is slightly better for the cable to mount in the new black bracket.

Also, use the picture in the first post as a guide.

Got it, looks great, BUT where's the return spring? I thought it was supposed to have one built in.

What is the torque spec for the bolts holding the bellcrank and cable bracket to the engine case?

No specific torque. Just snug it down against the washers.

QUOTE(McMark @ Oct 23 2012, 10:18 AM) *

I sent out an email to all the buyers. Only heard back from a few. CSP is updating the design to include a return spring (which is a great new benefit). I'll contact them again and get an updated timeline. If you need one ASAP, PM me and we'll figure something out.

I too am confused - no return spring. But otherwise very sweet.

Do you guys have the original Weber springs on the throttle shafts?

Attached Image

They were missing on my carbs, so I bought some new ones from EMW. You can get them from CB Performance, as well as a few other sources.

I added an additional spring (at the bell-crank) that I picked up at a local hardware store.

Yep I have springs on my carbs, so no big deal, just curious as I thought the delay was do to the new design/manufacturing effort which included some sort of return spring.

No matter the linkage looks great, think it will be a good improvement, and I appreciate Mark handling the GB.

Got mine today. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/monkeydance.gif) Did a trial fit. Perfect. Thanks Mark. Is this bracket painted or powder coated? I might need to bend it a little and end up needing some touch up.

Got mine installed late yesterday. Ball sockets that actually pop off. I still need to synch and remove the crossbar plate from the top of the carbs. But synching should be a lot easier.
