***Stranded in Rawlins Wyoming***

Gang, we ran into the big storm that just went through the Midwest and is plaguing Chicago this morning. Only here, in Rawlins and Cheyenne, it was a whiteout blizzard. They closed I-80 last night.

At this point we're still 27 hours and I-80 is still closed. That means we're a no-show for the museum and lunch even if we drove through the night. The current plan is to pull back a day and arrive tomorrow night "if" they open I-80 in the next couple of hours.

I've asked Zach to head things up as he put the original route together. I had 30 of the guides printed out and stapled together for the morning drivers meeting. We have another local Andy911sc who can probably help as well.

I wish I could control the weather because we'd probably be somewhere in Indiana right now! I was way excited about the tour more than anything. I'm encouraging everyone to hang in there regardless of a little rain. It will be a blast.

Paul, I spoke with Gettysburg yesterday and as long as "one person" pays, we can get the group rate of $10.00 per. Otherwise, it's $12.50 a head at the welcome center.

At the museum, you can pay individually and they will give you the group rate. We are registered as the "Porsche Gettysburg Fun Run" group. They do request you come in as a group though. If there are some stragglers, mention the group name and you should get the group discount.
