East Berlin has a tiny Park in front of the Fire Station where they have the F14 Tomcat on display. It's the real deal and a great Photo Op if you want to swing us by and get a group or individual picture in front of the plane?
One block of the main route. |

***UPDATE***
Please check the time changes. Everything has been bumped a bit. I just got off the phone with the museum. We have group rates logged in but, they would like us to arrive as a group to facilitate entry and the discounted rates. The "Porsche Gettysburg Fun Run" rate is $7.50. We'll stage in the museum parking lot at 8:45 and doors open at 9:00 I'll also be putting together a confirmed head count to help the restaurant get us a room for lunch. Weigh in if you are confirmed. |

New "Porsche Hauler" is ready for action. FYI there should be 3-4 Empty seats in the white school bus for anyone wanting to ride along. Diesel ain't cheap though (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Zachariah, there's supposed to be a nice covered bridge outside of Mechanicsburg. Do you know anything about it and do you think you could route the return by something like that? Thinking it would make a nice photo-op. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)

I don't know it off hand but can look for it.
There are going to be many photo-op places along the way. Part of our route cuts through a state park with freshly blooming Forrest and a lake. Amish farms. Old communities. That section of PA really pops in spring. Zach |

This bridge looks covered...
Its on the Messiah College campus just SE of Mechs'ville. Off Creekside drive. It leads into a parking lot. And not far from Rt 15. Is this the one you meant? Has to be a a bridge over the Yellow Breaches Creek, I think... Zach |

Found some info on it online. It was recently restored in 2011. Should be totally beautiful in late April.

I am looking for a teener ride on this run. Mine won't be completed and I would die having to follow the group in my Tacoma. Anyone have a seat open? I will buy lunch and libations.
Thanks John "wndsnd" Amesbury, ma (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) Edited for phone thumb syndrome |
