Was going to steal one of Paul's Nissan GTP pictures from his Flickr account, but they're locked! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/poke.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I was all set to go back after missing the last two years until yesterday. Got put on a new program- Gotta work. I have some parts expenses, because my poor mangled 914 is almost right again. (!) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif)

You crazies have a good time. It may be the best 12hrs of my lifetime. I expect some agressive driving.

I feel like a dope - I only got to spend a few minutes with T.C. and Mark (Zimms) over the weekend as I had family members straggling in over the few days I was there and spent most of the time making runs to Publix and the gas station for supplies. However, it was an awesome time as always.

I did not get to drive a Corvette with T.C. since they (apparently) had a breathalyzer set up and the beer won out. I'll look forward to riding with him in the future though at a DE.

DeltaWing blew up early. Audis were incredible and in some sections you could hear the flywheel spinning up under braking! Falken guys gave the Ferraris and Vettes a heck of a run. Ferrari lost out to the Vettes in the last fifteen minutes when the tires gave up. LMPCs and GTCs were largely boring as usual.

Don Panoz definitely left an indelible mark on NA sportscar racing and I feel fortunate to have experienced every Sebring of that era. Next year surely won't be the same!

Watching the Audi's on TV was like watching a train rolling by.

The Audi's are soooooo quite. The GT battle was a blast, and overall, all of the classes had some sort of battle going on. The new BMW looks incredible, unlike the boobs on the big ol' girl I saw Friday night. The Jäger gods went easy on me this year. I got to meet George, and did a few laps in a Corvette on Chevy's little circuit. Fun times.

The Corvette Gig was good, but kept me from watching the Race. Nobody crashed, but the very 1st guy on Friday almost did. At one point on Saturday I was in the Corvette for 6 Straight Hours. I will doing the Corvette/Chevy Tour at Barrett Jackson - Palm Beach April 4-6th.

Zimms came by & I only got to say Hi. I saw George on Thursday on the Berm on Turn 5 to watch Practice
