I just wanted to say Thank you Lisa Kaplin for the work you do for us everyday. She took this job without anybody asking her to, she took this continuing task on her own. I see very little thanks that go to her. We can't do enough for her. Do you know that she does this on Club NARP also? Last year I started to look for a tub for her and what I found was that AA had been buying them up here. Also the quality of the cars left here are no longer that good. I thought I could put a car together for her and make her a real 914 owner as a thank you and that I would get help in donations of parts from you guys.

Now that I am leaving I am out of it and you guys will have to figure out a was to really thank her.
Thank you Lisa

Thanks Lisa!

I would be down with donating some parts or $ if someone wants to build her a car.

This would be a good chance for a new shop to show off their skills. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif)

If we could find something down here, I'd be willing to do some work as well, if not donate some money to a parts fund. Thank you Lisa! I've never met you, but I hope to one day. What a kindred spirit to be so dedicated to making us all feel a little special on our B-days..

I can contribute beau coup rust for the "new" teener, and a set of jack stands.

If somebody gets this rolling, I'll send some green.

Wow!!!! Joe, you don't have to do anything.......and as for thanks I do get a lot of PM's thanking me for my birthday wishes (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I feel honored to be part of this crazy bunch of people, even though I don't have a teener.

I did drive my older sister's original back in the day, and I loved it which is why I am
probably so interested.

As for those of you who don't know what or who I am, I am the *birthday fairy*.

If you haven't gotten a PM from me it's most likely because you haven't put your birthday in your profile (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

It was so nice to see the few people I did get to see at your house Sat Joe. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wub.gif)

Wills actually poked me.............. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/w00t.gif)

on FaceBook (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

He is trying to get me to go to the route 66 gig.......I'm looking into that.

Cheers to you all and Joe best wishes to your future on the *other coast*

You will be missed greatly! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wub.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wub.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wub.gif)

For serious. Lisa rocks.

I really appreciate the time she puts into stopping in each day to wish someone a happy birthday. Its one of the little touches that makes this place so fantastic.

Yeah, Lisa is awesome for doing this year after year! Just read some of those ubiquitous birthday fairy posts and you'll see she's got a helluva database and she actually keeps up with all of our birthdays, and PMs too! Very sweet of her. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/grouphug.gif)
