Hi everyone, Just wanted to share our progress with you all as we near ever closer to Rennsport Reunion. We're eagerly awaiting to show you this work in progress project of ours in person, so come stop by any time throughout the event and see for yourself, and don't forget to stop by our vendor booth at 5:00 pm on Saturday 9/29 for the 914 World get together! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) We have been diligently working with Cary Eisenlohr of Eisenlohr Racing Products (ERP) in association with Tarett Engineering to create our 935 front suspension w/ full JRZ coilovers and extended reservoirs. That's all for now! Best Father / Son Project Ever! Looking forward to seeing that beast in person again at Renn6. You guys do amazing work! Carey getting hands on Also, a big shout out to 914 Rubber for the great turn around time on making our steering rack look and feel brand new! Below are our engine mounts & bar, in which we had ceramic coated. (Don't mind the bolts in the pic as they're temp for fitment purposes) In the middle, you will notice our lower transaxle mount, which is part of a 2 mount set - up. Below is the upper transaxle mount, which also supports the forthcoming wing upright mounts. It's all starting to come together. The car will be on display showcasing the Foregline 5 lug Centerlock Conversion Kit, but due to this still being a work in progress, it will be rolled on the Panasports. That's all for now! WOW...............I want those wing supports! How about it? |

OMG Piece of cake >> I'm pleased that it hits the " Marc" for you ยก WhiteTwinTurbo >> I'm sure that we can adapt this wing mount system to a normal 914 trunk, just needs to directly push down on the rear suspension. Feel free to bug me after September for details ! |

Whats the benefit/ rational on ceramic coating the motor mounts? So the metallic ceramic coating was chosen for corrosion resistence, fast dissipation of heat (this biturbo engine will radiate lots), and we will be able to get our hands in there after a quick cool down>> for minor pit repairs. Nickel chrome= too much bling , and golden zinc was our first choice...but the zinc contractor (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smoke.gif) guaranteed us that 10% of my parts would sink to the bottom of their automated tanks and lost. I also send large orders of product in weekly to the ceramic shop, so adding these mounts in was cost effective, all parts back in 3 days, nothing missing (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) |
