I can appreciate the lunacy of sinking so much effort into a project based upon
a 914 shape. Pretty damn cool Marty!

I'm sure that we can adapt this wing mount system to a normal 914 trunk, just needs to directly push down on the rear suspension. Feel free to bug me after September for details !

Great build and I'm happy to bug you after Sept.

What does wing are you attaching?

Brand+ style of wing can be seen on the opening pages of this thread ; the two alum uprights are in our final design stage and will be water-cut to final shape (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I'm another 914 guy following this thread with anticipation and awe.

I'm trying to schedule myself to make it to Rennsport. If I do, I'll be by to see the beast and to say hi.

Great project!!!!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

We can't wait to show you what we've been working so hard on these last several years, and especially these last several months just to get it into its roller state for Rennsport Reunion.

Here's a quick look of where we're at.

The beefy motor mounts.

The interior is finally taking shape.

Now that I can see the engine in the car, I can't wait to see what you are going to do with the rear trunk cover and the grill to fit around it.

I know you have heard this but your workmanship and finish are the best. Great ideas

I saw this car yesterday and it’s stunning. Art and skill and everything you could do to a 914 to race it, and do it exceedingly well. There are a handful of builds we’ve all seen through the years, this one is truly exceptional. Congratulations to Marty and his son!

There won't be much left of the engine lid...but less IS more; it will be bikini size (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
