Switching over to a racing fuel cell and need to know the resistance range of the existing gauge so I can order a sending unit that is compatible with the gauge. Most seem to be 0-90 ohms.

Thanks McMark. Wasn't trying to be lazy, just efficient as I'm at work. Should have searched myself. And thank you for the thread. Looks like 0-90 ohm range will work fine with the existing gauge, just might not have a working low level light.

You will need one of these to make it read correctly...

These guys will even set it up for you. The GM sender you speak of is 0-90 ohms the VDO gauge needs 70-7 ohms
