I offer anyone here to trade jobs.

$600k worth of repairs to perform on pumps currently in the shop that are due in the next 3 weeks, another
$200k are already past due, mechanics who make $20 an hour and are overpaid, 4 apprentices who try hard but don't know their ass from a lathe, primadonna machinists who think that I don't realize when they are dragging jobs out, a boss that is riding me because profit margins are low, and Cal OSHA all over my butt for not having guards on all the machines in the shop.

If I wasn't a greedy bastard I would quit right now.
but I can't complain (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Life's a bitch, then you die. It's the time in between that makes it all worthwhile (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif)

QUOTE(sgomes @ Nov 23 2004, 11:37 AM)
...and speaking of Schopenhauer and Hegel.....

Philosophers song

Immanual Kant was a real pissant
Who was very rarely stable

Heidegger, Heidegger was a boozy beggar
Who could think you under the table

David Hume could out consume
Schopenhauer and Hegel

And Wittgenstein was a beery swine
Who was just as schloshed as Schlegel

There's nothing Nietzche couldn't teach ya
'Bout the raising of the wrist
Socrates, himself, was permanently pissed

John Stuart Mill, of his own free will
On half a pint of shandy was particularly ill

Plato they say, could stick it away
Half a crate of whiskey every day

Aristotle, Aristotle was a bugger for the bottle
Hobbes was fond of his dram

And Rene' Descartes was a drunken fart
"I drink, therefore I am"

Yes, Socrates, himself, is particularly missed
A lovely little thinker
But a bugger when he's pissed

Thank you Monty Python

I was going to post that... :finger2:

I'll get my comeuppance in due time, but until then good luck.
