Manitou Springs. Excellent. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) That is where I am headed after the RRC.
Want to join me for an assault on Pikes Peak on Monday? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif)

Capital idea. The weather will probably be exciting.

Snow is possible between Durango and Manitou Springs. Snow is likely on the Peak in October.

There was snow last week on Mt. Sneffels near Ouray.

Pieper - hang in there - Manitou has been hammered and I hope you are safe.

Sorry gang, I have been waiting for this event all year. We are officially out this year. I was just deployed to Toronto to work. I would have passed but I haven't worked since last December and quite frankly I could use a couple bucks to get through the winter. If we are back before the event we'll have to crash in the parking lot.

Anyone that has a room in another hotel and would like to stay in the host hotel I would be glad to give you my reservation. I booked a double bed room.

Elliott,

That snow (some people are saying that it was actually hail) was at over 14,000 feet. The passes on the drive won't be that high.

I don't have exchangers (Kerry Hunter headers) but will be fine.
