I've got a video of Slits and I hitting that sleet, snow mush at the peak. You see the camera go down as the sideways slip began. The pucker factor was about 12 on a scale of 1-10.

That was I-70 over the peaks at Fishlake Nat'l Park area. Between Beaver, UT (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wub.gif) and Richfield, UT (IMG:style_emoticons/default/barf.gif) . Fortunately, the only place well see snow is Flagstaff as the rest of the trip is thru the Navajo Nation which is DIRT, to the Four Corners area. After that, all bets are off (Cortez, Mancos). I'm bringing chains ........................ |

Anybody that drives a Volkswagen Touareg look-a-like surely never drives his 914. |

I just assumed since every pic of your car seems to have the trailer in background. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/hide.gif) |

I think we'll all be happy just to see you there. With a 914. That runs. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I was in Cortez and Dolores last week, camped along the Dolores River. I kept thinking about taking the teener on CO145 2 years ago for the Ouray RRC. I can hardly wait to go back for this year's event! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif)

I just assumed since every pic of your car seems to have the trailer in background. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/hide.gif) Check page 47 of the new issue of Panorama. There is a photo of Eric's car, and not a trailer in sight. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/slap.gif) |

Made some progress on my car today. Things are looking good for me coming out with it. Although I will be flat towing it out or putting it on my trailer. Not going to trust it to make the 3000 mile round trip.

Note to self: sick honey badger on Elliot first. Just be sure to send it there a week early. You know Elliot (IMG:style_emoticons/default/evilgrin.gif) Actually no don't send it early. We would get the carnage first hand that way (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy11.gif) |

Hah! I eat those things for lunch brake boy. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/chowtime.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/slap.gif) Perfect. I will buy you a Badger Burger at the Road Kill Cafe in Seligman. I have driven past a dozen times. I plan to stop and eat lunch this year. On the way to Flagstaff on Thursday, take Rt 66 out of Kingman and I will meet you there. Attached image(s) |
