Is the AEM cable long enough? Sounds like everyone just runs it under the motor, into the cable tunnel and up the front firewall? Does anyone know if its long enough to do the drivers side pillar gauge pod?

My o2 sender is mounted on the passenger side rear of the car, It goes through the tin, around the passenger side of the engine, through the firewall, through the tunnel then up to the center under the ashtray. I had a lot of extra wire. I think you could reach a pillar however it is ok to splice extra wire in if needed.

I had a lot of extra wire running up the front fire wall and then back to a floor mount (which is a bad spot). I ran up the firewall for eventual mounting up with the other gauges. You should be fine.

Got the gauge yesterday, install time... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smash.gif)

How do you guys go through the rear firewall? Drill a new hole or fit it with the wiring harness (seems tight)?

Got it in, just realized there is a nice hole in the firewall for the speedo cable you can stick the AEM cable through and route it with the factory wiring harness.

I do agree AEM is much better so far than the Innovate, I had an Innovate LM1 on my other car. It was much more difficult to install and more finicky overall, this one has been working very well so far and they are super cheap on ebay right now.

What size is the gauge (2 1/8")? Does it fit in the center console location?

It's 52mm (2 1/16") so it's a pretty good fit in the console. I installed mine about 3 weeks ago and it works very well so far. I found the wiring installation very easy through the center tunnel and I too had
a hole that was a perfect fit for the connector to make it through the firewall. Very happy with the AEM!
