Anyone able to recommend a good 356 shop in the modesto/San Joaquin valley area? Got a 64 that has been sitting, and needs its systems gone through.

Emory Motorsports in Portland. You asked for recommendations, but sometimes the best are not nearby. Shipping a car is cheap. rich |

One thing's for sure... the Cap'n does not bull (IMG:style_emoticons/default/stromberg.gif), so you'll know everything he doesn't like about the car. That's who I'd go with. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

The Cap'n Yes, based on all these years on this 914 family..the Cap'n would be a great choice. Especially since he's even has a trailer to come and get it....he's got nothing to do since retirement (IMG:style_emoticons/default/shades.gif) |

Theres one good VW shop in Modesto and a couple of Euro shops.. But you might be better off with someone who knows 356's specifically... Like Mark or The Cap'n
