John, would you happen to have some garage space for RS while we're in Vegas?

LOL. I don't even have garage space for Elvira and all her sisters at my house.
Where are you staying? If you throw a few bucks to the valet guys they will treat you well. I can ask Carl and you could probably park your car at his shop. (If you don't mind being around a few 928's, 911's, Turbos, a 904 and a few more of Zuffenhausens finest) The shop is only 2 miles from The Strip.

I'm not going to valet the RS.

If I can get into Carl's shop, I would appreciate it. Would you check for me?

As fate and fortune would have it, I'm out this year.

Fate being rains throughout winter break and fortune being what I spent to keep the daily beater truck trucking.

I'm up for food and festivities though. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/beerchug.gif)

PS. no garage space here either.

What exact dates and times for drop off and pick up?
The address is 3043 Meade Ave. (702) 876-7982.
They are the red star on the map. Your hotel is the (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/crest.gif)

From your hotel you are walking distance to the Hard Rock Casino and the Hofbrauhaus. You will also be less than 2 miles from the Monte Carlo Casino (they have a brew pub your buddy might want to visit).

Best guess right now:

Arrive in Vegas around 6pm on Wednesday the 20th and depart around 9am on the 21st.

Thanks for checking for me, John. I'll be able to relax and have some fun if the RS in safe inside.

So what time on the 20th is the gang planning to be in Flagstaff for lunch? I've lost track - how many people are there? What kind of lunch are you wanting to do? I can see what arrangements I can make.

Right now I'm thinking 3 or 4 from PHX, 6 with me from ABQ and BWI and who ever comes from Flagstaff.

So what? Maybe 12?

Lunch at a cool downtown venue close to I-40 would be perfect.

I just did a quick search on the Internet. There were a couple of places downtown on Freemont street in the $45 range. Two better options were the Fiesta on Rancho Road or the Palace Station on Sahara for about $10 more. If you want cheap and safe, the Primadona Casino or Buffalo Bills 40 miles outside of town on the Calif state line were both under $30. Motel 6 and the like were all $80 - $100 in Vegas.

I have a feeling you're about to screw up the departure schedule, because I don't think we're leaving Vegas without you.

Give me some details.

We here we go.... I'm taking some chances with the kids. My oldest is 18, His GF lives here now, My youngest is 15, he likes to jump out of windows and do crazy things like that.... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wacko.gif) I'm not too happy about that (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/Yack.gif) Their staying home. School, jobs, and music are keeping them here.

Sandy is flying out to meet me. I need to pick her up in L.A. on Friday. She is flying out from Vegas the following Wednesday.

I just posted a request for two weeks off. I'm absolutely swamped here with work. I work out of my house. My manager is 180 miles away in an office. (sux to be him (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/slap.gif) ) I have my new manager coming to spend the day with me Wednesday. That should be interesting. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/cool_shades.gif) There is no way I can quit early any day this week to work on the car. That means come friday night it's Asses and elbo's to get it ready to go.

The car is still on jack stands in the garage. It's still damaged from the driveway incident last summer. I need to get and install a new regulator in my bosch alternator, New Optima is in the garage, (not in the car yet) I need to repair and paint my trunk lid and rear lock panel before loading it on the trailer. I'm driving out by myself.

I figure I can make Denver before I need a nap. With the work I have ahead of me I won't be able to get to Vegas before Thursday. So if anyone is left in town I'd like to Caravan the rest of the way with ya.
