JK from the band Jamiroquai owns a GT along with loads of other exotica, I've heard that the purchase price was in the region of 300k.... http://luxvelocity.typepad.com/luxvelocity...sche-914-6.html Unrelated to the thread but cool none the less, Jamiroquai vid featuring his RS, oh and his helicopter .....git (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=k_bQ0h85gY8 I was driving my 914 in Dartmouth, Devon, UK, in November 2013 when a bearded character jumped out into the road in front of me & flagged me down. I think he said that he had 3 914/6s, one of which had been rallied by Bjorne Waldegard. We talked briefly but traffic was stacking up behind me so had to move on. "By the way," he said, "I'm JK from Jamiroquai." |

He also has a 914-6 Yep thats the same Jeff :confused:lol but Im pretty sure he did'nt bring his car all the way down here to run it in this event. (it's still in Rod's barn ) Here's a link to the youtube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gUtBdbzEKeA It's a pretty cool event and if you check out the video on their leadfoot page , youll see why. Even have Billy Gibbons there. Admin edit: Embedded the video for 'ya ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gUtBdbzEKeA |

Interesting about Ann B Davis owing 3 914's because she lived here in Boerne up till about 2013. On occasion in the past 14 years 914's come though town but my 75 is the only one I know still here.

John Denver, well, at least according to the parody by Bob Rivers
(Alternate lyrics to Rocky Mountain High) I’d been sippin’ on some vino From a pretty decent year Zippin’ home in my classic Porsche 914 I saw flashin’ lights behind me Heard a siren in the wind And I wondered what the ossifer pulled me over for When I first rolled down the window He stuck a flashlight in my eyes So I smiled and I asked him what was wrong He said your left taillight is broken You missed a stop sign way back there You’re going way too fast And your breath smells pretty strong In the Colorado Rocky Mountains high I’m weavin’ left to right and side-to-side Now I’m trying hard to touch my nose But I always stab my eye DWI Colorado DWI Colorado DWI Colorado “Uh, step out of the car. You’re doomed, ‘Mr. Sunshine On My Shoulders’. You’re drivin’ on the shoulder.” DWI Colorado DWI Colorado |

Dennis Aase, of the Asse Bros. Porsche dismantler dynasty, canAm, IMSA gtu + gtp driver, including a team driver for Gurney's All American Racers, had some 914s in his ownership. Most memorable the Troutman built 914 pickup truck, today owned by Kevin at Gunnar Racing.
His other mid engine Porsches were 904, 906, 962 . He's running a 911 IMSA team today. Awesome guy to know ! Marty |

Here are a few pictures of James Garner driving a brand new 914 in an old episode of The Rockford Files.
I know this doesn't count but I thought it was cool. |

Here are a few pictures of James Garner driving a brand new 914 in an old episode of The Rockford Files. I know this doesn't count but I thought it was cool. His lawyer Elizabeth (on the show) drove a few 914's until about 75 then she drove a mercedes after. Netflix is educational! |
