Normal timing with fuel injection is 27BTDC is more advanced timing required for carbs and if so how much? Thanks

2-3 degrees, depending on the grade of fuel you're using. That brings your TOTAL advance to 30 degrees at 3K RPM. If you're using the original distributor with vacuum hoses attached to ports giving appropriate vacuum signals, I suggest leaving the timing as specified in the manual.
