Cash and space are a valued commodity.....I have six cars with space for four....insurance is buggering me and I'm tired of the expense of insuring vehicles that sit.....the house remodel killed me and I need to pay off some loans....

Hi Mike,
Do you have a title? Can it be made street legal? Would it be worth it? Cheers, Elliot |

Anything can be made street legal. As for worth it? Thats a good question. I dont think it would be that hard to make that car street legal. Add horns, headlights and blinkers and stuff like that. The DMV doesnt usually check all that stuff anyway.

No horn, headlights or turn signals.....it's registered and has a tiltle, currently insured and I have driven it on the street....easy fix if you want to hang a set of driving lights on the hood or in the f/g front bumper.....no one uses signals in CA.... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/cool_shades.gif) Favorite bumper sticker....no horn, watch for finger.... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/finger.gif) |

didn't see it mentioned in this thread -- izzat a factory /6 or a conversion ?
looks nicely done; i've got more than that in the 911 now but i couldn't get it out as easily. looks to be a great car for the price. actually, i'm lusting after the truck but it's a bit outside my budget - especially with a Subie out of service... |

Nope, a conversion.....Registered as a 1970 ....the car was a project from another member, then it tossed the cookies at Willow Springs....THAT engine ws rebuilt and is Andy's.....I did the conversion....this is my fifth.
VIN# 4702911799......so eligible for vintage racing as a six in most areas due to it being a 70.... |

Mike,
I'm drueling over your lift in the garage. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/drooley.gif) Who makes it and where did you get it?? I wonder if my 911 would fit underneath it? Of course that's all I need is my 914 leaking on my 911. |
