Quick update. Brought all motor bits to my machinist yesterday. Looks like I have just about everything I need... just a lot of cleaning and painting to do with tin, etc.
My GT Replica engine lid from Sergio showed up yesterday. I know that adds at least 10 HP. :-) Took off the top yesterday and realized that I don't have sun visors. Huh? Maybe they're stashed with the ignition key! Anyone making visors? Here's a shot of the GT Lid: Also bought the Weber rain hats from 914Rubber.com too. Should I be concerned about water getting on anything else, like the dizzy? |
