Mint/near mint OEM USA lenses. Curious as to what they are worth. Contemplating selling them or keeping them for my Creamsicle. I currently have Euro lenses (driving lenses/tail lights) as I prefer the look of them. But should it be in a major car show (may be in the Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance) or for any reason for originality (LEs were USA only, so should have USA lenses), to keep them for such an occasion. But OEM lenses in new condition are next to impossible to find, so they would being some nice coin. Any ideas?

I'm going to guess & say US lenses in that good a shape are worth a lot, especially to the concours people. I too had euro lenses on my LE for a very brief period of time & caught flak from Bowlsby & Garvey, so I put the US lenses back & have the euros on my 6 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

If you have two cars, then sure. I've always had two, but sold my red one not too long ano and only have the LE now. And if I had a second car again, I'd probably put USA lenses on the LE and Euros on the more daily driver. But I'm wondering since these are in like new condition, if I should just sell them. Then again, I want my LE to be the best it can be. Even though they're not on the car (but wrapped in layers of bubble wrap and boxed).

I just checked the AA website & they sell their US repros & OEM Euro lenses for $200 a pair. Since OEM US lenses are now unobtanium, it would figure that they'd go for more. I keep my LE stock & even have extra set of wheels & a stock muffler on hand if I have to go full original, since I'm running fat tires & a Bursch exhaust.

I know the tail lights alone have gone for more than $500.

when you decide what you want, let me know. I have an otherwise pretty original car (orig paint, interior, low miles), but a previous owner did switch all the lenses to euro style. Been meaning to look for proper lenses, but hadn't gotten around to looking yet.
