Happy 918! The 918 could be the future of all cars, just watch. If you haven't read all about it I strongly suggest you do.
And again HAPPY 918! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cheer.gif) |

It seems that many teeners are celebrated this month, so happy 918 day...You think I could get a test drive?

Going forward, the mission statement from Porsche should keep cars like the 918, and their rennwagens, in top contention :
"I am of the opinion that sports cars actually foreshadow innovations, and this was true in the past as it will be in the future." Ferry Porsche |

Prototype #25, 887-hp and funky development brakes in rain—which made for VERY slippery pavement on the track at Leipzig. Then the sun came out... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Guy in the right seat is the father of the 914-10 (aka the Carrera GT). Looks like CGT designer Grant Larson (sitting shotgun). He was given the task to correct the design of the car when chief designer Harm Lagaay was "Not entirely satisfied with the car's appearance". What you see in the CGT is Larson 's creativity. I was present for a lecture that he gave about his design work for Porsche, at Art Center Pasadena. Cool guy and loves his job ! Here's the 914-6 and the 914-10, but happy 918 day ! |
