In anticipation of next time, the water company came out and dug a 6' deep hole right in that area by that tree yesterday...

That's what I asked them...they stubbornly refused to put the fountain in and stated that they would only put a new water meter in...8 feet away from the current one.

Bastards....I am glad my sprinklers kicked in on them (no lie...funny stuff).
