Haven't seen this finish on these wheels recently, which I prefer to the black paint treatment, for the 5-spoke look. Has anyone done these in the latest finishes available today? Seems the prices are low, understood they are cast. http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=481008 Very sexiful |

I've seen these polished before. I think it makes the spokes look lumpy.

Sorry I have to agree with Mike. Those do match your silver scheme though.
I went the opposite direction and completely powder coated a set semi-gloss black. BTW Im pretty sure Rivs have a raised petal, those appear to be some VW variant. |

Not mine, like the look the unpainted wheel has, improves the Riviera style wheel.Too much old contrast when painted.
Needs a cover of some kind for the center hole,a faux splinemount? I'm sure you're right about the raised spoke panel. https://plus.google.com/photos/118213332657...3265?banner=pwa Appears he got the rear end, pushed into something too.Bummer. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) |

I had some Rivs with satin black centers/spokes and silver rims. They looked surprisingly good.
