Most of you have asked for the back and bolster combo piece. They are now in stock and ready to ship. I have even done up an instruction sheet to help make it easy.

I know this has been discussed in the past, but was curious if the corduroy seat inserts are available. My 74 2.0 has these, and I think they are the best way to go for a black seat as it is much more comfortable than vinyl on a hot day. Unfortunately, after 40 years, the material on my seats is starting to get weak.
I did get a sample of upholstery grade corduroy from Burch Fabrics, but the width of the pattern is about twice the size of the original material. Jim |

That looks awesome!!! -Jim (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_pokal.gif) Actually on this one I used the original which was in excellent shape and added a3/4" memory foam on top of that so it fills out the Sean cushion nicely. The dnly issue I really have run into is on the back of the headrest where the top piece should wrap ack and under that lip on the back side of the head rest, it's shorter than mine and I had a hard time because it's almost an inch shorter than my original one.mark should have them leave that a bit longer , on the side part also. But you won't see that really so..... I'm just a perfectionist. . Our living room and seat parts all over and my wife is not a happy camper. On another note I just noticed that the foam under the left side lower side bolster on drivers side is lime a big chunk missing but was that way from factory . Is that norm0al? |

Yes, more like a slice, right? Room for the e brake lever. |

Yes, more like a slice, right? Room for the e brake lever. That was my first thought. I didn't know for sure. Makes sense. |

No there should be foam there. It can easily be fixed by gluing new foam on and carving the excess off to fit. There is a thread here somewhere.

Do you have access to other Porsche fabrics or just the original 914 fabrics?

Some. But I can get just about anything made. It's only a question of time and money. The plaids were over 2 years before they finally were 90% done and the black and grey took another 6 months+

All the drivers seats I've taken apart have a cutout for the e brake. The passenger seats do not. All came from stock seats Attached image(s) |
