Brad-
You once called me hardcore because I helped a friend with his 914 and threw a Porsche gathering in my home. I can't hold a candle to the good you've done to this group. From almost 3000 miles away, you seem to be a heliva nice guy despite being a self proclaimed asshole. Best of luck to you; I'm still praying for the truth to rule. Peace, |

Brad, I know I don't know you as well as some people, but my thoughts are with you also!! If you need ANYTHING, lemme know and I will do whatever I can. If I remember correctly, you were one of the first people to answer my very first "newbie" question, and you have been the occasional "push" that I need to keep my restoration going. Hang in there ......and everything will work out !!!

Brad,
If I didn't have to work I'd caravan down with everyone else and watch this jerk's case get demolished at the hearing tomorrow. I've worked with you in your shop for about 4 years now and one thing's certain...you're no thief. Keep your head up. You've done nothing wrong. Best of luck and I'll be thinking a good thought for you tomorrow afternoon. Mike Carmody |

brad has helped me out countless times (i was temped to say "bailed me out")
regardless of the day of the week or time of the day. he let me work on my car in his shop, let me use his tools and at the end of the day even teach me a thing or two. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smilie_pokal.gif) i can't even begin to list what he has done for the 914 community. if it wasn't for him, the 914 would be a endangered species in the zone 7 autocross landscape ... my car would still have a slipping clutch and a shitty paintjob and i probably wouldn't have gotten into racing at all. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/idea.gif) Prost! Well, I'm bringing up the tail end with my support.
I've probably known Brad longer than anyone on this site, excluding Dad Roberts, and if I know anything about Brad, it's that he's willing to help out anyone with their car problems. As someone else said above, he is a self proclaimed A hole, and with good reason as he has the ability to piss some people off (obviously), but one thing he is not, is a thief. He's never stolen so much as a piece of bubble gum (hmmm...my Dr. Peppers were never safe though...that's why I hide them now). I know Brad isn't guilty of anything more than bad judgement and being hard-headed. I hope everything works out ok tomorrow... |

If you need some assistance, perhaps I could arrange for a little disappearing act. Call out the boys and make your exit strategy complete. Brad Roberts would no longer exist. You would be known internationally as the 914 Asshole, leader of the infamous Asshole 914 family. Cousin Guido will be waiting outside with a get away teener.
Good luck tommorrow. |

Brad,
You have been straight with me the few times we discussed 914 business, and that should shine through at the hearing. Our court system should never beat an honest man, its not time to start now. |

WOW! I thought that "bail" thread was a joke (I haven't read it yet)! I'm glad Sor Andy nailed the info thread!
Hang tough! Like someone said, short and sweet, now is not the time to be an A-hole. Good luck. Oh..and being in jail is no excuse for missing the WCC '05 (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif) alberto |

Brad, sorry I can't be there tomorrow to see you. Please know that I'm thinking of you and hope everything comes out clean tomorrow. One of the things you do best is make people realize they're being silly without having to say anything. I'm sure this will happen tomorrow at the hearing. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif)
You have always been there for me whenever I needed you (when your cell phone was charged (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/rolleyes.gif) ) Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you. You are truly a good man, and I know you wouldn't take advantage of anyone, much less steal from them. The only thing I ever see you do is give. The truth will come out soon. You have many friends on your side, thinking of and praying for you. I'll be looking forward to your call! Jen |
