Hope all are doing well. It's been a busy year here. I finally got around to having a Pole Barn/shop built. I'm out of room in my 3.5 car garage so this new shop will be great to actually get some work done in and be able to use my garage to park in. Should be another week or so before they finish up. The contractor had to stop working due to the high winds here. They already had the wind destroy a long roofing sheet. Trying to lineup the sub-contractors to finish up insulation, electrical, gas line install, and concrete. I was lucky enough to get a contractor to do this build this year. The 4 others I called where looking to start in the spring/summer of 2025. Here's a teaser picture for now. I'll add a few more once it's wrapped up.

The new shop looks great! I am putting up a shop now as well, the weather has not been great for such activities…… can’t wait to see your building finished up! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

There seems to be a lot of lumber on the ground yet? Interior walls?

Looks great Do we ever have enough room for our _________ Will the frame bench be living here? Hi John, Yes, the Celette bench will be moved to the new shop area. I'd like to get it mostly setup before the snow starts to fly here. The next two days here are gonna be in the 70's so they planned on concrete for today. Hopefully get things wrapped up by the end of next week. The electrical and plumbing will be the last thing. I'm still waiting on the utility co. to get things squared away at their end. |

Great news, but as Western New Yorkers we know what can happen quickly. having this closed in ASAP is I'm sure your priority.
Looks very cool |

The new shop is coming along. The stone finally got here and now waiting on the mason to come out to install it. Electric is going in and waiting on the electric comp to tie everything into the grid. Gas line is run and heater installed. Interior is being finished.
The overhead door should be in this week and hopefully installed next week sometime. The snow has arrived and have a few punch list items that need to be addressed. I hope to get this all wrapped up here in the next two weeks. Attached image(s) |

It's closed in, huge victory did you go for in slab hydronic? Hi John, I did not do the heated floors. A buddy of mine has it in his 40x60 shop and loves it. He also has a few wall mount units to supplement heat/cold when the doors open. He works in his shop just about everyday so it works for him. He also lives in an area where there's no NG supply so propane is his only choice for now. I just didn't see the need for it on mine plus I'm running a NG heater that warms up the 48x36 floor space pretty fast. I'll use the saved money towards a lift instead. |

Beautiful Luke. Well done. That building would give me 100 percent lot coverage, double my property tax and give my neighbors another reason to shoot me. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) Hi Rory, You've been out at my place. I have plenty of space out here and a benefit of living out in the sticks. lol.. Yeah I can see your neighbors not liking the idea of a shop next to them. I bet they jump out of their chairs every time you start your 6. As far as taxes go, I won't see the increase until next year and I'm sure the town will stick it to me like every other year. |
