I'm looking for something different than the GT flares and stuff like that, I was thinking more like body flares. Anyone got any pics of some different flares.

Search on John Kelly flares. He's a member here who makes flared quarter panels and sells a instructional dvd. He's good! His avatar is a pic of a 914 done with flares

I've always like the flares on this car:
http://www.914conversions.com/html/fischer_part_2.html Too bad but it looks like the links to the larger pics are no longer working. |

Mike,
Yes, I did buy the car out of the Bay Area (with a 2.7 and Weber 40s) from Don Teeter. It had an IMSA style front air dam and dark plexiglass headlight covers. I installed 916 style bumper and the glass hood and deck. The front fenders were simply set on top of the steel fenders and fastened with Dzus fasteners. I removed all of the front fender metal with a plasma cutter and fabricated mounting brackets. Still lots to finish ... Eddie |

Ayup. They actually come as full quarter pannels but don't come close to fitting the car, so ya take what ya need (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif) It'll never be a CW car, tho. Front to strut: Attached thumbnail(s) |
